Would You Believe?

Would you believe?
Are you an Eve?
Or can you see?

Open your eyes
In order to see
You need to believe

You need to believe
In order to receive
Can you not see?

Don’t go to sleep
Or be blind like Eve
Who didn’t believe

What will you be?
An eve?
Or someone who sees and believes?

Love Letter

Dear You,
It’s been a while
Do you remember me?

We met by chance
We had chemistry
But it was nuclear

I was falling for you
But you took advantage
You hurt me a lot

But I still love you
After all this time
Will you come back?

We could be together
As love conquers all
I know you have a heart

Come on, what say you?
Do you want to see?
What we really could be?

Superhero's

Afraid of confrontation
He flew to see me
Scared of who I am
And what I can do

Flyboy as I call him
Is jealous of me
Because I am better
Than he’ll ever be

Yes he has powers
The ability to climb walls
But I can do more
I can be inside walls

He tries to chase me
But to no success
I am better
I am invisible!

The Army Kind!

That Man Reacher
A wandering soul
Walking aimless
Nowhere to go

Who is he?
What does he do?
Where is he going?
People always ask

His occupation
An army officer
Military policeman
Laying down the rules

People were scared
Of his appearance
A mighty man
One to fear

A wandering man
Still fighting crime
Who is he?
People ask

He’s a moral man
Of integrity and peace
A man who rules
The army kind!

The Day After

Utter sadness
Some remorse
Many tears
Used tissues

Red eyes
Runny nose
No words
She is gone

Curtains closed
Lights off
Stillness now
Laughter gone

No happiness
No fun
Just memories
Now she is gone

Yesterday’s hope
Is now gone
Today’s pain
Is total agony

King

Gather the crowds
Let them hear
Of the wondrous news
That I will be king

Summon my father
Bring me my brothers
Make them bow
And call me sire

Let me show them
What I now am
One to be feared
For all to revere

Many years ago
They threw me down
Covered me in mud
And left me for dead

But I survived
I was rescued
Now I will be king
I will rule them all

Let me see their faces
When they hear the news
How I will smile
I am now King
