Perfume in the Air

The morning glow

Shines over the sky

All yellow and glorious

The cow’s in the field

Grazing at the grass

Enjoying the morning sun

But then darkness looms

Clouds cover the sky

Turning the yellow sky grey

Thunder comes clapping

Lighting marking the sky

Raindrops hitting the ground

The smell of rain

Mixed with the meadow due

Floats like perfume in the air
