The Deadly Disease

The Deadly Disease
It is terminal, hard to get rid of
It’s there for life, there for eternity
It weaves its way in around and about you
Like woodworm does in wood

The Deadly Disease
It doesn’t realise how deadly it is
Making innocent people ill
Upsetting family lives
I wish it would go away but it won’t

Terminate it, the deadly disease
We’ve tried, it won’t work
It still comes back worse than ever
It comes back with a vengance
Ready to do more damage to people’s lives.
