Mr Muse

I have lost my muse

He has gone on holiday

And left me alone

I feel lost

I can’t write

I have lost the ability

To put pen to paper

And make sense

I feel bereft

My brain feels stranded

On a lonely island

With no one for company

My mind is buzzing

But not with words

There is just noise

Nothing useful there

Mr Muse please come back

I feel lost without you

I need your help

To help me write

I want to be creative

But without you

I am unable to do this

I just want to scream

Help me, please

I need to be creative

My hearts needs an outlet
