You say you are well

But I can clearly see

From the look in your eyes

That you are in pain

You think you hide it well

But you can’t fool me

Because I know that look

As it’s been in my eyes

I know your heart hurts

But I don’t know why

And I know I can’t help

Because you won’t let me

You don’t let anyone help

As you are too stubborn

You say its strength

But that’s just a lie

You can’t lie to me

As I know those lies

I’ve told them myself

You can’t hide from me
