Buzzing

My mind is buzzing

Words flying everywhere

Numbers jumping out at me

Grabbing my attention

And eating my brain alive

Nothing will be still

It’s like a bullet train

Rolling down the highway

Knocking everyone over

Causing havoc all around

It just needs peace to come

And put a calming hand

To speak words of love

And bring the buzzing to a stand still

And let the waves settle
