Numb the Pain

My hear is torn

My body is heavy

My mind is a mess

My life a wreck

The pain is awful

The memories painful

I need a fix

To numb the pain

The pain is never ending

It’s a misery to live

Nothing that I do,

Makes the pain go away

Need to find away

To live a life complete

Live with a happy heart

And a mind free of pain
