Complicated Minds

Minds are complicated

Hearts are too

Filled with thoughts

Filled with feelings

Thoughts which are random

Thoughts that are true

And I tend to overthink

Which makes my brain ache

Feelings of hurt and love

Of weird and wonderful things

But the heart is precious

And can easily break in two

My mouth says one thing

And my mind another

Then the heart gets involved

And everything is a jumble
