My Son, the Killer

Both mothers are torn apart

One feels like she has lost part of her

While the other feels like she has failed

 

Her son was a killer

Killing his classmates,

Before killing himself

 

Remorse is shown by the mother

While the father remains stoic

And tries to avoid any blame

 

The tension in the room rises

As voices are raised

And hearts continue to break
