I saw you first

But that didn’t matter

As you bypassed me

And went straight for her

I have longed for you

And been by your side

But all that time,

Your eyes were on her

Now you are together

It makes me sad

As I feel broken hearted,

Lonely and furious

I still like you

Still want to be with you

Dreamt of a future together

But you went for her

I act as I don’t care

But really I do

I do wish you two,

Be happy together

Though I do question

How long it will last

But I also know

I’ll never have a chance

I need to move on

And I know I will

But for the moment

I feel lonely and lost
