place
Not knowing what
to do
Unsure where to go
We are left
feeling scared
Why are we under
attack?
What have we done?
We are innocent
and true
Please leave us be
It is not our
fault
The way things
turned out
Leave us alone
We are not to
blame
We are out in the
open
No one to protect
us
Leaving us high
and dry
Why has it come to
this?
Please leave us be
Put the guns away
Let the children
play safe
And bring the
world some peace
