To have a relationship

It takes two

To have an argument

To make communication

So why blame just one?

Why think you are innocent?

It takes two to start a row

But only one gets side-lined

Why wash your hands off them?

Why do you walk away?

It takes two

You initiated everything

You did the running

You are part to blame

It is time for you to own up

Accept your part in all this

Don’t just blame one person

It takes two to make things break

You say one thing

Then you say another

It is all mixed messages

Which you are sending

Stand up to your ways

And admit your faults

You are not free and blameless

You walk away

You sit and judge

You bring the tears

And just criticise

Where is the love?

That you claim to have

It’s all hurt these days

One day you are full on

The next you complain

You send mixed messages

And want some space

But you still can’t see

The part you have played

In breaking this relationship in two
