Dancing Man

I was watching you dance
It was a very emotional time
You were impassioned
Yet you were also enraged

The sadness was filling your eyes
You felt bitter that he was gone
Bitter that he was taken away from you
This emotion was making you dance

Your eyes were full of love
Your mind full of thoughts
Craziness encircled you
Your heart felt sore
Yet your feet took you away

You danced, you jumped, you shouted
You were so lonely
You called out for peace
The pain you felt was seeping out
That pain made you dance

You called for me, you asked for me to come
I came, I helped you
I showed you that I cared
Your father was gone but I am here
It is your love for me that made you dance
