My heart aches

I need you by my side

But you are not there

And that makes my heart break

I honour the one who made me

By not being able to see you

But it hurts

And makes my heart ache

I want to be with you

But you are different from me

And the faith tears us apart

Which makes my heart ache

 I’m sorry I have to do what’s right

Even if it’s not right for us

It’s what’s asked of me

And it makes my heart ache

But by honouring my creator

I will be honoured and fulfilled

My heart will be full

And no more will it ache

No more pain, no more sorrow

No more tears, mo more aches

Only joy, laughter and praise

Because no more will my heart ache
