Pressure

Growing up is difficult enough

Without having added pressure put on you

You’re expected to be good

Expected to be polite and understanding

People like to see you dressed up

Wearing a nice skirt and blouse

But they won’t get that from me

Jeans and jumper will have to do

You can’t ask questions

Can’t have doubts

You’re supposed to believe

That’s all that counts
