Darkness surrounds me
There is no light in sight
Pain overcomes me
There is no comfort around
I need a light to find my way
To bring me out of this darkness
And give me hope to shine
In a world covered in dark
I need a hand to comfort me
To ease the pain in my heart
To take the weight off my shoulders
In a world that is heavy
Who will provide the light?
Who will reach the hand?
Is there one to take the weight
And to lighten up the world
